Attention all locavores! We are offering an opportunity for 4-Hers to visit local farms and learn about the production of the foods we eat. On day two we will prepare a 4-course meal with the food we collected to share with families under the leadership of Washington County 4-H Alum & Culinary Institute graduate Jamie Norton! This is a two-day event with tours on the first day and the food preparation on the second day.
Here are the details we have so far:
Who: 4-Hers 12 and up
When: July 7 partial day of tours & July 8 all day ending with dinner.
Where: Washington County Fairgrounds except for the tours.
