4-H Shooting Sports is open to all youth ages 12-18 who are interested in firearm safety and environmental conservation. The program features demonstrations, hands-on activities, and range time over 6—8 weeks. Disciplines include Air Rifle/Pistol, Archery, Rifle, Shotgun, Muzzleloader plus Hunter Education & Bowhunter Certifications.
We offer two sites:
*Northern program begins February 28 and meets at the Hudson Falls Fish & Game on Wednesday nights & Saturday mornings;
**Southern program tentatively begins March 2 and meets at Salem Rifle & Pistol and Owlkill Rod & Gun on Saturdays.
Participants select which program they wish to attend.
The fee is $30 for 4-H members; $35 for non members.
