Our primary goal is to help members of the community improve their overall quality of life by developing good home and consumer management skills.With this goal in mind, Cornell Cooperative Extension offers numerous programs designed to increase consumer literacy.

Cornell University Cooperative Extension’s building individual and family strengths focuses on promoting positive relationships between parents and other caregivers and their children. Information and classes are available on discipline strategies, ages and stages of child development, managing conflict, increasing effective parenting skills and other topics related to supporting families.
