Harmful Algal Blooms (HAB’s)

HABs: Karl Czymmek, Cornell University Senior Extension Associate and Pro-Dairy team member will give a talk on HAB’s nutrient sources and the impact on water quality. It is the Washington County WQCC’s objective to help educate the general public, landowners and farmers on the impact of HAB’s. Mr. Czymmek will talk about what farmers are doing to minimize the impact of spreading manure and what everyone can do to further reduce HAB’s. The WQCC meeting is open to the public.
