National Safe Tractor & Machinery Operation Program
Youth will:
Youth 14 & 15 years old are required to have a NSTMOP certificate when employed on farms & agribusinesses that include operating equipment. Youth participants must be at least 14 years old as of April 10. (Farm family youth may take part in the tours & demonstrations regardless of age.)
Here is the general schedule:
Virtual live Orientation: March 30
In-person sessions will be held at various farms & agribusinesses along with the Washington County Fairgrounds.
Tours & demonstrations: April 10 -12
Practice driving: April 12
Online tests: April 12 - 14
Skills & Driving tests: April 15
The fee is $30 for 4-H members and $35 for non-enrolled youth.
